U10's and u11 were invited to travel across to Bradford to take on Forza academy on a cold, sunny, windy night.
U10's game was up first, playing 3x20mins on a 7v7 pitch. U10's started off really well and competed with forza for the first 20mins. But when it came to the second 20mins we lost our shape and things were working out for us. Was a difficult 20 mins for the u10's. Then it came to the last 20mins and we managed to battle our way back into the game and up the score board. This was far our best 20mins as we played some fantastic football and work together as a team not not give up and competed till the very end. Overall was a great game and shows that anything can happen in football.
U11's game up next playing 2x30 mins on a 9v9 pitch. U11's game was a game of 2 halves. With some players playing out of position and 1 u10 player stepping up to take on the challenge. They competed and battled well in the first half and as a quite an even game. They just struggle in the final third and finding the back of the net. 2nd half was much better for us and they played some really good and exciting football which lead to a couple of great goals. Great team performance from the u11 today.
