At this age group (U12's), players are building on the start of their competitive football as it's the second season of official competition. They've had a full season to understand how official rules work and now it's time to build on what they know.
The format is still the same as the previous season (9v9), however within a season they will be moving up to 11-a-side. With this change in mind, U12's will be challenged with how their play can be altered to suit 11v11 whilst still playing 9v9. This gives them chance to get a step ahead of the following season to come.
Tactical and technical skills will continue to be developed, especially with precise detail as players get older and become more knowledgeable within football due to plenty of match experience and many hours trained.
Girls
Our current U12's mix and train with the U13 Girls and are part of an advanced class. The class is challenging but every girl benefits from the sessions as their growth and development is acknowledged away from UFSA as well as during UFSA sessions. All players are currently playing at high respected grassroots teams within the county and are enjoying their frequent football.
