Fellow Yorkshire side Hull City were the next team our Girls section played at both home and away venues. Both sides produced a number of teams to provide an action packed series against one another. Our U10's, U11's, U12's, U14's & U15's were given the green light to represent United Football Sporting Academy.
U10's & U11's began the series of games by travelling over to Hull to compete against a mixture of U10's, 11's & 12's. Despite height differences, both our teams got stuck in and proved height doesn't matter as they produced a strong performance to combat the challenge Hull laid out.
The U12's were at home against Hull City and produced a fine masterclass from the first minute right through to full time. Fantastic football was on display in this fixture as both teams gave it their all in testing conditions.
Our U14's were also hosting Hull City Girls at our grass venue at Sherburn White Rose FC. Despite the freezing temperatures, our girls worked their socks off and put on a fascinating display to further their match experience against another academy side.
The U15's are due to play Hull City Girls in the new year, after their match was postponed as a result of the poor weather we've received in the run up to Xmas. We are looking forward to new fixtures against Hull, who have provided brilliant games for all of our teams at UFSA.
