U9/10

U9/U10 sessions can be split into beginner or intermediate dependent on the stage of development of each individual. The basic foundations are still taught at U10's. This is important for development as we want to work at a consistent and growing rate, instead of making a giant leap straight into elite training. Ball mastery, passing, shooting & teamwork are still heavily focused on by coaches but are subject to alteration based on the ability of the group.

We continue to arrange friendlies as match experience at young ages is vital to understanding the game and allowing players to learn through their own performances. The more they play, the more they learn.

U10's are the last age group that play non-competitive football in grassroots football. This is an age group, generally, where we look to build on foundation level topics and introduce more complex learning as U10's have been playing 7v7. This format is a great way to introduce formations and in-depth details about the roles of specific positions.

U9/10

Girls

Our U9's and U10's are an intermediate and advanced class, with many players playing at a top level as part of their respective grassroots teams.
They're an energetic group of players and have very positive attitudes in both training sessions and games, which always leaves both players and coaches in smiles after every session.

U9 Boys

In this age group we have 2 teams - U9 boys and U9 Blues

Our U9 boys play in the Garforth league on a Sunday Morning. We believe they are in a mid- level league playing against some good oppositions. They train once a week on a Friday. This team has also won a cup this season so far.

Our U9 blues also play in the Garforth league on a Sunday but they are in one of the highest league playing against some of the toughest teams in the area. This team trains once a week on a Wednesday.
